Kohler’s New Smart Bathroom Products Can Connect to Alexa

From Jan. 9 to the 12 of 2018, Kohler revealed a line of smart bathroom products at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. That’s right—no more having to touch dirty surfaces or deal with faulty flush handles. You can just tell your toilet to flush instead.

Although having a smart toilet is already pretty exciting, the fun doesn’t stop there. Kohler announced numerous products that will create what they are calling “the world’s smartest bathroom”. These products include a smart mirror, shower, sink, and bathtub.

If you’re a fan of Amazon’s Alexa then you are going to love Kohler’s Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror. Alexa is actually built into the system, creating whatever lighting is ideal for your current mirror needs. The mirror comes in three sizes: 24, 34, and 40 in.

Although the hands-free sink is meant for the kitchen, it shouldn’t be ignored. This smart faucet dispenses water to your exact specifications and will provide two different kinds of sprays. It comes in three different finishes—Polished Chrome, Vibrant Stainless, or Oil-Rubbed Bronze.

The shower is connected through a DTV+ showering system, which can create presents for your shower routine. Enjoy listening to classical music while you wash off? That’s a preset! You can preset sounds, water, steam, and lighting for the best shower experience. Once everything is set, just let the system know when to “start my morning shower”.

Similar to your shower experience, the PerfectFill technology will draw a bath to your exact specifications. Set your preferred temperature with a simple voice command, and get ready for a relaxing evening bath.
