Solutions for Old Paint

A simple solution to free up space in the garage

Dump it on the (covered) floor

There could be the makings of a minimalist masterpiece in your garage. If you have old, nearly empty cans of paint that have been in storage for a couple years, chances are you’ll never use them. Just take old rosin or craft paper that you’ve used to protect flooring and dump the paint over the paper out in the yard. The paint will dry into a flexible mat, and then you can either frame your art and hang it in your living room or roll it up and toss it into the trash. — Mac Wentz
