DIY Trailer Liner

A trailer liner will make transporting dirt and mulch much easier

Family Handyman

Here’s How to Do It

I use a 4 x 8-ft. trailer to haul mulch and dirt to the house. It’s extremely handy except when it comes to cleaning out the cracks and corners after each load. I discovered that a Bagster from the local home center could serve as a great trailer liner. The bag is not only the same size as my trailer but also tall enough to fold over my load and strap down so that I don’t blow the contents on the drivers behind me. The bag is tough enough to stand up against shovel strikes and pulling along the ground, and it also works great for sand, dirt and gravel. — Joel Eisenbraun
