Project step-by-step (3)
Attach the hook and loop fasteners to the book and the braces
Stick two hoop strips to the center of the back cover of the book. Stick the mating loop strip to one of the outer sides of the metal braces.
Mount the braces to the wall
Mark the corner brace locations on the wall using a level to ensure the shelf will be straight. Orient the braces so the loop strip faces the floor, then fasten the braces to the wall using drywall anchors and screws.
Connect the hook and loop fastener strips
Set your book with the back cover hanging down on the brace. Line up the hook strips on the back cover with the mating loop strips on the brace and then close the cover, so it hides the brace and affixes the book to the brace. The book cover hides the brace and makes the assembly more secure.
