Space Saving Wood Trim Drying Rack
Updated: Jun. 30, 2017Finish and dry hundreds of feet of trim in a day

Building the rack
Have a whole bunch of trim to finish? This rack is easy to set up and takes up hardly any floor space—and it holds so much that you can finish all your trim at once.
All you do is pound 16d nails about 6 in. apart into 8-ft.-long 2x4s and screw the 2x4s to the wall. No open wall space? Clamp them to your garage door track. Just make sure you unplug the opener! There’s your drying rack. Slather on the stain, varnish, paint, whatever—and then rest the pieces on the rack until they’re dry.
